I’m Lauren–a writer, editor, and homeschool mom of six–and my passion is to help writers of every level.
I began to think of myself as a writer at age 11 when I submitted a poem to a contest at school. That first foray into writing ignited a passion, and I continued to pen stories and poems throughout my high school and college years. When I became a homeschool kid, my own mother’s support and encouragement empowered me to pursue excellence in my writing and ultimately led me to purse degrees in English and Teaching Writing. It also showed me that parents are capable of cultivating their children’s abilities through their support and feedback, regardless of their own educational background.
My love of writing and my passion to help other writers have led me to work as a tutor and teacher to children, college students, and professional writers through teaching courses, providing individual feedback, and editing. I also come alongside parents to equip them with tools to teach and assess their own children.
